Introduction to Buckets

A bucket is the primary unit for organizing data in the Object Storage service. It acts as a logical container for your files and objects, similar to a folder in a traditional file system, but with additional management and control capabilities.

Each bucket receives a unique name that serves as its identifier and an automatically generated URL for access. Buckets allow you to group related files together, manage access permissions at the bucket level, and configure specific settings such as CORS rules for each of them.

In the bucket list, you can see information about each bucket: its name, the total size of all objects in it, the number of stored files and folders, as well as the creation date. This information helps you track resource usage and organize your data more effectively.
