Introduction to restore¶
Restore in Delta Cloud Backup allows you to recover data from available backup snapshots based on the protected item type and your expected result. Depending on the scenario, you can restore data directly to disk, back to original paths, as an archive, or into a target service (for example, a MySQL server).
Core flow¶
Regardless of the data type, restore usually follows the same sequence:
- Select the device and protected item you want to restore from.
- Choose the appropriate restore point (snapshot).
- Select the restore method that fits your goal.
- Confirm the settings and start the job.
- Verify the result in Jobs.
